Sister Cities International to honor Nagasaki and St. Paul

Saint Paul and Nagasaki entered a formal agreement to become sister cities in December 1955, before the official start of Sister Cities International program promoted by President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  As the oldest sister city relationship between the United States and any country in Asia, our connection is being honored at the SCI summit near Osaka, Japan, in mid-September.  We hope to send two delegates from St. Paul to that event.
